What’s your role at Sowen and what does it involve?

I’m a Creative Designer in the Concept & Image team, and I’ve been with Sowen for over 3 years. I handle the visual side of a project: decoration, signage, visual identity, and window graphics.

Your background / studies before doing this job?

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Montreal, followed by a Master’s in Landscape Design in Versailles. Then I specialized in graphic communication with an MBA. Right after school, I was hired by Sowen—this is my first job 💫!

Your typical day & key skills for this job?

You need to be able to innovate so every project feels unique, and be a good listener to create something people truly connect with. My day involves moodboards, concepts, illustrations, layouts, decoration… It’s a very creative job, so super stimulating—with real freedom!

Why did you choose to work at Sowen?

I was looking for a role that combined architecture and graphic design—and being a Creative Designer at Sowen turned out to be the perfect mix.

Creativity, good vibes, and diversity!

A project at Sowen that really stood out to you?

Any project where I get to decorate, create murals, and draw on the walls—that’s a win for me ☺️.

Your passions?

I do triathlons and am part of a club—it’s a real passion 💚. I also love swimming, cycling, making Instagram Reels… and I’m obsessed with my cat Chewba, who joins all my Teams meetings.

A designer or design piece you love or find inspiring?

The Hippo Lounge Chair by Norr11—I’m obsessed. Elegant and quirky, just how I like it.

What’s the most unexpected item we’d find in your locker or on your desk?

My swimming goggles 👀

If your computer could talk, what would it say about you?

“I can’t handle your Pinterest addiction anymore!!!!!” 😂
